IMS Research launches new survey for users & purchasers of PV Inverters

IMS Research has today started the largest survey of buyers and users of solar inverters that will collect opinions from hundreds of installers, integrators and wholesalers about their purchasing requirements. The survey will be used to form the detailed analysis of a new report “PV Inverter Customer Opinions & Requirements Survey”. To help reward installers and integrators who complete the survey, IMS Research will be offering a free €10 Amazon voucher and the chance to win a new iPad 2.

IMS Research’s detailed survey has been produced following requests from inverter manufacturers and suppliers who want to gain a further insight into the decision making process of customers. The target audience for this survey will consist of buyers of PV Inverters such as installers, distributors, integrators, and EPCs from a variety of countries.  It will run for one month and following on from this, IMS Research will produce an in-depth report based on the data collected. The survey will cover multiple geographic regions with responses analysed by country and customer type. Topics covered in the survey will include: brand and choice of supplier, inverter product choice, product features, microinverters & power optimisers, future requirements, service & warranty and inverter pricing.

The survey has been translated into a variety of languages including and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The first 150 people who complete the survey will automatically win a €10 Amazon voucher and everyone who completes a survey will be entered into a draw to win an iPad 2.
